I would literally be unstoppable if I didn’t have that persistent pit in my stomach that everyone in a room is just a little bit annoyed by my presence

“damn I’m crying over an insect” “why am I having such strong feelings over how the sky looks” “it’s weird how happy this small thing made me feel” THAT’S BECAUSE YOU LIVE HERE!!!! you live on this earth. everything all the time is an experience, no matter how common or mundane. this world is unique. so are its small moments. it is good to enjoy a tiny thing. you love the world even at its smallest scale.

How come when you arrive on time to a doctors appointment they make you sit in their lobby for 35 minutes but when you arrive 6 minutes late they spit in your face and make you kill yourself with a ceremonial knife

I don’t care if it’s 1 A.M. I don’t consider it “tomorrow” until I wake up.

Winning that ticket, Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me… it brought me to you. And I’m thankful for that, Rose. I’m thankful. You must do me this honour. Promise me that you’ll survive. That you won’t give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise. I’ll never let go. I promise.

its always “what are your plans for the future, you should really be planning for the future” and never “wow that character you’re obsessed with sounds so cool can you explain them to me. im sure you get them more than anyone else”

small and local farms can and do abuse animals as well btw

the local farm argument is especially meaningless. Literally every farm is local to someone. It does not make that farm inherently good?

my local family owned farm literally used prison labor too

It bugs me when people are unnecessarily mean. Like, you didn’t have to make that comment. You could have just kept your mouth shut and left that person not feeling bad about themselves. What do you gain from making someone else feel like shit? Nothing of substance. Maybe a fleeting moment of power but that’s gone as soon as it comes so why? There’s enough unhappiness in the world without you adding to it.
